Connor was electrocuted when unplugging his Game Boy Advance from the wall socket in the hotel room
in which his family was staying in Thailand.
Thai officials said the incident at the Sunset Beach Hotel in Patong Beach, Phuket, was caused
because Connor's hands were still wet after his swim.
But his mother Kathleen Curry, who discovered his body in the room, insisted his hands were dry when
he went to fetch the Nintendo Game Boy.
She warned other parents to beware of electrical goods bought abroad. "My son was only
unplugging his Game Boy. He does it all the time at home," added Mrs Curry, 45, from Walworth,
South-East London.
"There should be some kind of warning about electrical currents abroad because this
wouldn't have happened in England.
"Connor had just eaten but was still hungry so we ordered some more food. When it arrived I was
near the swimming pool but he was nowhere to be seen. So I went into our apartment to look for him
but he was lying dead on the floor.
"He was aware of the dangers of electricity and was not stupid - he would not mess around with
plugs."
Although Thai Police have recorded the death as an accident, many Westerners regard the electrical
system in Thailand as dangerous.

school tomorrow
hi connor haven't been on here for a while. have to go back to school tomorrow. i keep on thinking that if you were still here you would be going into year 5. i really miss you. watch other your mum and everyone else that you love. i really wish you were here. sometimes i think you are going to run up to me in the street like nothing has ever happened. i wish that was you. bye connor super miss you!

My heart goes out to you and your family, to lose someone is hard but even harder when it happens abroad. I know how hard this is I lost my Partner abroad, It is even harder to come to terms with as you dont have all your family and friends around you

Just wanna tell you that I miss you everyday boy and still cant really believe that your not here.
Guess what? Im havin a baby!! and guess what else? Its a boy!!
